    Due to the variation of knee sizes among patients, custom sizing is sometimes necessary for a proper fit.     

For custom knee immobilizers or neoprene knee supports

Take the following circumference measurements:

    -6" and 3" above knee center
    -Knee center (Mid patella)
    -3" and 6" below knee center
    -If the patient requires a longer brace, add circumferential measurements for every two inches of additional length.
    -If the patient requires a shorter brace provide circumferential measurements for every two inches of leg length.
 

For Knee Immobilizers please notify us if you need any of the following:

    -If patient's size necessitates additional medial and lateral stays.
    -If ends of stays must be covered by vinyl to prevent excess wear from night use.

For Neoprene Knee Supports please notify us if you need any of the following:

    -If a medial or lateral buttress is required instead of the U shape and if pull strap is desired
    -If an open patella is requested
    -If a diamond cut behind the knee is desired (not recommended-generally custom braces reduce material build up).
